The possibility to be fraudulent

• The consumers may have consequences for being fraud because the suppliers  have the opportunity to deceive customers. Thus, customer only will be charge by the product even the suppliers does not have stock anymore.

System breakdown

• If during the transaction money, system were breakdown it maybe create any changes of difficulties to consumer. For example is the possibility to supplier did not able to charge to telephone bill of their customer.

Personal details will be hacked by hackers

• As we all know, today environment is more dangerous, especially IT hackers..these hackers will using our identity, for example using our ic number or account number..
• these hackers maybe will making any transaction or purchasing any online product..thus the implication will effect the account of telephone bills.

Question 4: Describe the value chain of the business of using cell phones as a payment method.

The value chain of business  it is where the process from the raw materials transforms into services or product.

• By using a cell phones as a method of payment, I would explain how the raw materials transform into services or product.
• For instance is a customer want to order a pizza from his house. He wills making a phone call and order the pizza. Thus, pizza restaurant would take his order using the facilities provided as a support process.
• Then, after the pizza already prepared, the delivery were making by using pizza restaurant delivery services.
• And the payment for pizza and delivery services are already charge by using the telephone bills.
• lastly it is become a product to customer after applying core process and support process.
• the pizza is value chain of business and using the value added from MIS finding a solution for need and want of consumers.

• Porter's three generic strategies is which strategies the company decided to choose..

using differentiation, because a lots of competitors in telephone companies. Thus creating difference among the product making the consumer attracted to their product.

• example:  Samsung aggressively produce variety of choices in touch screen phones. Every each product have their own specialty such as galaxy note II and Galaxy S III the both items even come up from one company but it is have differences between them.

Question 2: Using Porter's Five  Force describe the barriers to entry for this new technology.

Buyer Power

• Means how the competitors wants to attract the consumer by using this technology?..why it is becomes a barriers because mostly the consumer prefer using the prepaid top up rather using a telephone bills. if the customer using prepaid top up no wonder this new technology cannot survive in the market places.

• With this are new technology thus be the first question is how to get the supplier?.. who gonna be offer this appliances of this technology?..with this new environment the consumer need to change their mobile phone to the new one which are applied more advances application. As this product already in the market places, the consumers already knows these competitor: APPLE vs SAMSUNG are given very tight competition in ability to produce mobile smart phone at affordable prices..

Threat of substitute Product or Services

• substitutes product or services means the consumer have another alternative to purchase the product or service. Means the customer maybe have alternative ways to purchase product services rather than using charge from the mobile phones bills.

Threats of New Entrants

• Today, the competitors is easy to enter the new market due to low of significant of barriers in this market. Thus this scenario is making competitors having difficulties to survive and market their product.

Question 1

yes, of course this new technology as a potential threat to traditional telephone companies due to technology advances. All the telephone companies should taking a few step to ensure they will adopt for this technology. there are:

• Being innovative and creative to produce a new product.

what we can see today, Apple is being innovative to come out with an advance technology by using touch screen smartphones. Meanwhile, Samsung is being creative when this company always come up with new design and every each model have their own specialty.

• Making variety application

 Today the application of cell phones are more important aspect to choose the smartphones. The consumer really wanted a product which are have a lots of satisfaction and application. For example is Samsung were produce  a lots of model smartphone but every each item have their own specialty such as Samsung Galaxy Beam come up with intelligence idea which are provided with projector inside the phone.

THREAT OF NEW SUBSTITUTES 

• From my basic knowledge threat of substitutes where the product can perform the same product or another function.for example Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) which is substitutes of driving we can using the train.
• Besides that, it is show when there are many alternative to a product service.

SUPPLIER POWER

• Supplier's power  is ability to influence the prices they charge for supplies. This supplier have ability to influence the pricing of the product TENAGA NASIONAL BERHAD(TNB)..This company have authority power in supply electric as a monopoly company in Malaysia.
• this company trying to compete with IT to create competitive advantage.

THREAT OF NEW ENTRANT 

• It is shows how much the technology advances influence competitor..many competition and almost them compete which other to provide very competitive services to their customer such online banking, online paying bills and account monitoring.
• For example are Maybank, and Paybills Malaysia.

BUYER POWER

• When the buyers already have a lots of choices in the market where a lots of suppliers has offer similar product. The main purpose of buyer power is to reduce buyer power using IT to ensure the organization make it more attractive. It is best practice of IT-based.

chapter1: business driven technology

How many peoples know the differences between information technology (IT) and management information technology (MIS)?..some kind of peoples: yes I do..another side: IT? of course i know but.. what is MIS?..OK I answering my question..

IT is the area which are focuses on managing and processing information..It is means how the company want to use all the data by managing it with effective and efficiency? A simple answer: using technology advancement for example computer,and the others electronics equipment..by covering all the electronic equipment all the information is being processes by the software..

Meanwhile, MIS is business function..it is process or operation that is performed routine to carry out a part of the mission of an organisations..For instance marketing, finance and human resources. The main function of MIS is to solve business problem.All the department in organisation is doing a routine process and when there have a problem with the information or the data the MIS will solve it.

Last but not least, I making a conclusion that any area of business compulsory to use technology advancement  because we need to remind the main purpose of establishment of our business..it ts also making our business more competitiveness rather than others.i am glad to say that using technology the business can reducing costs,improving productivity and generating growth.

1st lesson from lecture MGT300..

3^rd December, my first class was MGT300(horeyyy)..finally I came back to my campus pursuing my studies to hold my diploma..hehehe only 2 semester left before I complete my diploma..this were not actual my entry..hehehe but i want to share my story or the accurate word my knowledge on this blog..

This semester all students BM115 for part 5 compulsory to create a blog as our individual assignment. For me this subject quite interesting and i think that i became more enjoyable on this class..
